👋🏻 Hola. My name is Mark Viloria. I was born in Manila, Philippines and raised in Cupertino, California. I’m a product manager, indiehacker, and creative. When I’m not building digital products, you can find me rowing indoors, collecting inspiration at art museums, or cooking up “flavor experiments”.
Welcome to my corner of the web. Here’s what to expect:
- Essays on wellness, technology, and society
- Updates on things that I’m building
- Product/Book Article recommendations
- Occasional tutorials/how-to’s/recipes

I’ve been extremely fortunate to have done a tour of duty in almost every function of business with the exception of finance and HR. After starting CampusKiwi – a startup aimed at helping onboarding new college students, I went on to do sales, marketing, design, and product at PLX Devices – a technology company focused on building high-tech instrumentation and gauges for car. From there, I took my sales/marketing/design/product know-how and helped dozens of small businesses launch new lines of product, bolster their online presence, and streamline their operations by digitizing and automating processes. After working on various designs for different brands and projects, the I got bit by the design bug and I decided to spend a few years building improved online experiences at HGST (a Western Digital Company) and ShipHawk. At one point, I was asked to move into product management and I haven’t looked back since.
While at ShipHawk, I worked on API, Dashboard, and e-commerce products that were the backbone of fulfilling millions of shipments from retailers across the country. At Procore, I worked on launching the Field Productivity Product Line and improving the most used tools that were part of the core Project Management Product Line – both used by many of the largest General Contractors in the United States.
